Worship Service
Sunday services are held at 10:30am in our traditional, beautiful sanctuary. Our services, groups, and missions are open to all. Please enter from the main doors on Willits St. We look forward to seeing you!
Mission Moment
The May Mission Offering will be collected for Community Aid for Empowerment, known as CAFÉ, an immigrant advocacy organization in Pontiac and Waterford that supports immigrant families. Elita Reyes will tell us about this nonprofit at the Mission Moment after worship on May 3rd. The focus of CAFÉ is to keep local immigrant families together by providing mutual aid, legal assistance, support for detained loved ones, and resources to help families stay safe during increases in ICE (US Immigration and Customs Enforcement) activity. Every dollar raised goes directly toward urgent needs such as food, phone calls, and legal fees.

Bible Study
We will gather on Monday nights at 7PM in the Parlor and on Zoom for a class again this Fall. Our first session will be on September 8th, linking the prophetic quotes in Matthew with their source material in the Hebrew scriptures. We will look into the intended meanings of both texts and compare them to gain more insight into Matthew’s message of the Gospel. This will be a vibrant gathering if past performance is any indication!

This weekly group offers support, friendship, and ministry opportunities with a primary focus on serving women and girls locally and globally. They meet on Zoom at 10am every Thursday.
Candlelight Concerts
Candlelight Concerts bring the magic of a live, multi-sensory musical experience to awe-inspiring locations like never seen before in Detroit. Get your tickets here to discover a variety of music at Sanctuary Church Birmingham under the gentle glow of candlelight (tickets are sold exclusively by Fever, not by the church or at the door). General Info Dates and time: Thursdays and Fridays at 6:30 PM and 8:45 PM Duration: 60 minutes (doors open 30 mins prior to the start time and late entry is not permitted) Age requirement: 8 years old or older.
