The May Mission Offering will be collected for Community Aid for Empowerment, known as CAFÉ, an immigrant advocacy organization in Pontiac and Waterford that supports immigrant families. Elita Reyes will tell us about this nonprofit at the Mission Moment after worship on May 3rd.

The focus of CAFÉ is to keep local immigrant families together by providing mutual aid, legal assistance, support for detained loved ones, and resources to help families stay safe during increases in ICE (US Immigration and Customs Enforcement) activity. Every dollar raised goes directly toward urgent needs such as food, phone calls, and legal fees.
