Good things are happening through Sanctuary and we want to take some time to come together and recognize all of the good work. Join us Sunday, June 14th, immediately after worship for a Congregational information sharing meeting in the Parlor.

SandCastles Grief Support Program, established in 1997 by Henry Ford Hospice, believes that every child and teen deserves the opportunity to grieve in a supportive, nurturing environment. This mission is seen in their annual summer camp where grieving youth, ages 3 to 18, can interact with peers who have experienced similar losses and learn lifelong coping skills to begin the healing process. Monthly support groups are also offered where families come together with staff and facilitators for dinner and fellowship. SandCastles is a nonprofit that depends on donations, fundraisers, and grants to serve the community and keep their programs running because they don’t charge for their services. Sanctuary donations will be designated for this year’s summer camp. We welcomed their staff to our Mission Moment after worship on June 7th to hear about their services.
