A three session online book review of “The Gift of Years” by Joan Chittister who describes how you can grow older gracefully by embracing the blessings and overcoming the burdens of aging. She helps us realize how aging is a precious gift of becoming more fully alive in a new stage of life. Each one-hour session will cover three aspects of aging written in easy to read and inspiring short chapters. The group will share their reflections hereon selected topics using leader assigned questions. There is no age limit for participants. We can all benefit from a new perspective on this stage of life. This book study will be led by Janice Rowe, a retired licensed professional counselor and co-facilitator of Sanctuary’s Grief Support Group.
