Our Mission Offering for the month of January will go to the American Baptist Churches USA Retired Ministers and Missionaries Offering. The Retired Ministers and Missionaries Offering is collected to fund and distribute thank you checks to retired ministers and missionaries and their surviving spouses. In 2022 over one million dollars was raised to distribute over 3,000 checks, 43% of which was for emergency assistance. This yearly offering allows us to give a tangible expression of gratitude for their service. All are invited to a Mission Moment session, presenting more information about the offering, in the parlor after worship this morning.

Scott Moore has started his series on the Baptist Liberties as part of our Discipleship Training Classes. The first session was January 9th and an informative PowerPoint, book and articles are available from Scott. You are welcome to attend the next session whether you made it out in January or not! February 13th is our next evening session with dinner at 6:30PM, and our presentation starting around 7PM. This series will continue until April or May depending on our class discussions. |

Join us in the Parlor on Sunday, January 28th immediately following worship for our Annual Meeting. We will be voting to approve the nomination of Joan Trusty as the Coordinator of the Pastoral Relations Team, approving our 2024 budget, and highlighting successes from 2023. Our Annual 2023 Report will be available the day of the meeting and copies of materials will be shared following our presentation for those who are not able to attend. |
