  • Mission Moment

    Chance for Life (CFL) was founded in 1992 by Tom Adams and Jessica Taylor to help inmates in Michigan prisons reintegrate into the community through mentorship and job training. CFL serves former prisoners, their families, low-income individuals, and people with disabilities by providing family reintegration and referrals for legal services, substance use prevention, mental and medical health care, and food and clothing. They collaborate with organizations that offer job training, housing, and food and utility assistance. Corporate sponsors include the Detroit Police Dept., Goodwill Industries, Michigan Works, Matrix Human Services, Michigan Dept. of Corrections, and Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries. On June 1st, Mr. Adams and Ms. Taylor will present their expertise on CFL’s mission and services during a Mission Moment after worship. The Outreach Team requests your support through donations to this exceptional organization.

    Candlelight Concerts bring the magic of a live, multi-sensory musical experience to awe-inspiring locations like never seen before in Detroit. General Info Dates and time: Thursdays and Fridays at 6:30 PM and 8:45 PM Duration: 60 minutes (doors open 30 mins prior to the start time and late entry is not permitted) Age requirement: 8 years old or older.
