Our Mission Offering for the month of November will go to Meals on Wheels, a network of 5,000 community-based programs dedicated to addressing the escalating issue of senior hunger and isolation in America. Since 1954 it has grown into one of the largest social movements, currently helping nearly 2.2 million seniors annually. The offering will support their Holiday Meal program. You’re invited to a Mission Moment in the Parlor after worship this morning to view a video highlighting the services of Meals on Wheels. 

On December 12, we will gather for this month’s Discipleship Training. Dinner will be served at 6:30PM. Please RSVP to Leona Frost so we can have an accurate count! After dinner, our program will include some thoughts about the12 days of Christmas, maybe a little singing, and news of upcoming Christian Education offerings in the new year! Everyone is welcome - invite a friend!

Program Info Join us for a night of story telling, candle lighting, and carol singing as we focus in on one of the most powerful moments in the Christian tradition: the birth of Jesus Christ. We will celebrate the light that breaks through the darkness and moves our hearts toward hope, peace, love, and joy. Our musical program will include Christmas favorites like Joy to the World, O Come All Ye Faithful, and Silent Night, and will be led by Sanctuary Collective, a community of diverse musicians, artists, and collaborators from the Metro Detroit area.
