Mission Moment
Sanctuary Church 300 Willits St, Birmingham, MI, United StatesThe Living Faith Team is excited to support Deliris and Moise Carrión-Joseph and their continued work in Tijuana, Mexico. They began a new ministry serving at Deborah’s House in 2016, ministering to Haitian, Central American, and African migrants. Their mission is to strengthen the local leadership of women, who now operate the shelter for women and children’s victims of family violence. We are thrilled to have them join us on October 16th immediately following worship to share their work in Mexico. They will be joining us via Zoom.
Bible Study
The Parlor 300 Willits St, Birmingham, MI, United StatesThe Tuesday morning Bible Study is continuing as regularly scheduled at 10:00 am under new leadership. Joan Trusty will be teaching the group, with a renewed emphasis on learning the background and context of the text to be discussed. We are working through the book of John, with the the February 14th class focusing on Mary and Martha, and then moving into the events leading up to Easter. Come join us!
