“Psalm68Five A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling.”

PSALM 68:5 was created to serve children with absent fathers because the founder wanted them to understand God’s heart for them. One in four US children live without their father, which puts them at risk of becoming drug addicts, school dropouts or suicide victims. This program supports them with scholarships to attend a Christian camp. One of their sites in Michigan is Higher Ground Camp at Lake Louise, also used by American Baptist camps. One of their partners, that also provides camp scholarships, is the Single-Mom ministry, spearheaded by Jennifer Finnegan-Pool. She will share information about these programs in a video at the Mission Moment on February 4 after worship.
