Our Mission Offering for the month of November will go to Detroit Friendship House. Friendship House is a faith based non-profit in Hamtramck, supported by the American Baptist Home Mission Society, which strengthens families through community connections and helps residents with basic human needs that increase self-sufficiency. There is a great need in Hamtramck where almost half of the residents live below the poverty level. Cathy Maher directs this ministry and will inform us about their services at the Mission Moment in the Parlor after worship this morning. Sanctuary will be accepting toy donations for MICAH 6 Santa’s Workshop and Friendship House November 19th through December 12th in the Welcome Center. Flyers will be available there for more information.
