DESCRIPTION:December Offering: Women’s Center – Congolese Baptist Women’s Association \nEach year\, thousands of churches and individuals come together to promote and support International Ministries’ World Mission Offering (WMO)\, that God is using to transform the world. During 2024\, global servants changed the lives of immigrants and refugees\, survivors of domestic abuse\, students\, children in Mexico\, and equipped seminary students through theological training. WMO gifts sustain global servants (missionaries) and mission projects in 70 countries. This year the Mission Team is requesting your support for the Mitendi Women’s Center Annual Fund that provides scholarships for 65 at-risk African young women and girls in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. \nThe Women’s Center is a ministry of the Congolese Baptist Women’s Assoc that provides education and job skills training\, reducing the risk of young women falling prey to exploitation and prostitution. They also learn hope for a better life through a solid foundation of faith to face their future. The project’s total cost is about $35\,000 a year and $1000 will provide scholarships for 2 women and some maintenance costs. Your gift can help the gospel message reach these women in Africa.
